In 2008 Embassy Vatican will be closed to the public on the following official holidays:

March 21, Friday Good Friday (Vatican)
March 24, Monday Easter Monday (Vatican & I)
April 25, Friday Anniversary of Italian Liberation (I)
May 1, Thursday St. Joseph the Worker (Vatican & I)
May 26, Last Monday Memorial Day (A)
June 2, Monday Republic Day (I)
July 4, Friday Independence Day (A)
August 14, Thursday Assumption Vigil (Vatican)
August 15, Friday Assumption Day (Vatican & I)
September 1, First Monday Labor Day (A)
October 13, Second Monday Columbus Day (A)
November 11, Tuesday Veterans' Day (A)
November 27, Fourth Thursday Thanksgiving Day (A)
December 8, Monday Immaculate Conception(Vatican & I)
December 25, Thursday Christmas Day (A, Vatican & I)
December 26, Friday St. Stephen's Day (Vatican & I)

When an authorized American holiday falls on a Sunday, offices are closed the following Monday. When an American holiday falls on a Saturday, offices are closed the preceding Friday.
