Vatican City, April 22, 2013 -- The U.S. Embassy to the Holy See is part of the League of Green Embassies, a global network of over ninety diplomatic missions formulating a common agenda for energy efficiency, renewable energy and water conservation. On Earth Day, our entire staff will renew their commitment to walking, biking, or using public transportation only to work.

Embassy supports American Indian cultural event in Rome
Rome, April 16, 2013 -- Following the canonization last October of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See developed a photo exhibit in conjunction with the Bureau of Catholic Indian Missions and the Vatican Ethnography Museum to showcase the history and diversity of American Indians. The exhibit, which was displayed at the Vatican Museums for a month, is presently on display at John Cabot University in Rome, and was featured in a student presentation about the Navajo nation.
