Papal General Audiences

All tickets are free of charge and can be requested in three different ways:
- Through the Church of Santa Susanna (an American Catholic church in Rome) by fax +39.06.4201.4328 or on their website, www.santasusanna.org/popeVatican/tickets.html. You will need to fill out the form at the bottom of the page to submit your request online. Requests must be sent two to six weeks prior to the desired General Audience date. Reserved tickets are not delivered; they must be picked up in person on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:15 P.M. at the parish office next to the Church of Santa Susanna in Via XX Settembre, 15.
- By contacting the U.S. Bishops’ Office for Visitors to the Vatican via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. They ask you to include in the request (1) Your name or the names of those attending; (2) The date of the audience you would like to attend; and (3) The number of people in the party. Reserved tickets may be picked up between 3:00 and 7:00 P.M. at their office located at the Casa Santa Maria in Via dell’Umiltà, 30, one block from the Trevi Fountain.

Should you be unable to get tickets for an audience, you can always attend the Sunday Angelus, held at noon in St. Peter’s Square and presided over by the Pope. Tickets are not required for this event.
Please note that private audiences with the Pope are reserved for heads of state and other high-ranking officials.
