The Children of Sant’Egidio's Casa dei Bambini Celebrate Christmas at the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See, December 20, 2006
On December 20, children from Sant’Egidio's Casa dei Bambini headed to the chancery of the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See for a Christmas party. Ambassador Rooney and the Embassy staff invited the children to enjoy an afternoon of celebration complete with Christmas sweets, decorations and music. The Ambassador presented each child, ranging from four to seventeen years old, with a Christmas present. The children went home, laughing all the way.
