Naval Academy Catholic Midshipmen Club Visits U.S. Embassy to the Holy See, March 15, 2007

On March 15, First Secretary Peter Martin and Second Secretary Peter Ganser hosted a visit of midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy’s Catholic Midshipmen Club to the U.S. Embassy to the Holy See. Messrs. Martin and Ganser briefed the midshipmen and their Academy advisors and guests on diplomatic relations between the United States and the Holy See and the common interests shared between the two in the area of human dignity and freedom including human rights, combating and preventing trafficking in persons, HIV/AIDS, and world hunger, and strengthening the moral consensus against terrorism.
